Kennedy Boboye laments missed chances as Sunshine Stars fall to Sporting Lagos

Kennedy Boboye, the technical adviser for Sunshine Stars, expressed disappointment over his team’s recent loss to Sporting Lagos. Despite putting up a strong performance, the Owena Waves were unable to capitalize on their chances, ultimately falling to a 1-0 defeat at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

The lone goal came from Paschal Durugbor, securing the victory for Paul Offor’s side. Boboye praised his players for their efforts, acknowledging the unpredictable nature of football. “It’s not the result we were hoping for, but that’s the game. We are staying focused and moving forward,” he stated in an interview with the club’s media.

Looking ahead, Sunshine Stars will be facing Enyimba at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure. Despite the setback, Boboye remains optimistic and is determined to bounce back in their upcoming match.

As the team prepares for their next challenge, the focus is on learning from their mistakes and delivering a strong performance on the pitch. Stay tuned for more updates on Sunshine Stars’ journey in the league.
