Naira Surges by N75.4 Against Dollar in Single Day, Hits N1,072.74

According to data from FMDQ, the naira strengthened to N1,072.74 per dollar on Wednesday, a significant improvement from the N1,148.14 rate recorded the day before. Furthermore, the parallel market also saw a positive shift, with the naira climbing to N1,040 per dollar on Wednesday, up from N1,100 per dollar on Tuesday. This means that the naira gained N60 against the dollar in the black market, showcasing a remarkable turnaround in a short period of time.
