Piers Morgan Slams Ten Hag’s Player Management at Man United

Piers Morgan, British broadcaster, criticized Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag for his handling of “world-class” players, citing Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho’s contentious departures from the club.

Morgan, in a tweet, pointed out Ten Hag’s alleged inability to manage challenging personalities, which led to Ronaldo’s exit in late 2022 and Sancho’s public dispute with the manager earlier this season.

He asserted that Ten Hag’s managerial shortcomings were evident in the contrasting performances of Ronaldo and Sancho post-departure, juxtaposed with Rashford’s struggles under his leadership at United.

In his tweet yesterday, Morgan emphasized that the problem at the club isn’t the presence of “difficult” world-class players but rather a manager who lacks the skills to effectively manage them.

Meanwhile, Sancho is anticipated to return to Manchester United at the season’s end upon the expiration of his loan deal with Dortmund.
