Tinubu to Return to Nigeria Wednesday, Aide Confirms

President Bola Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed on Tuesday that Tinubu would return to Nigeria on Wednesday. This announcement comes amid speculations surrounding Tinubu’s whereabouts following his participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Saudi Arabia.

Onanuga announced in a post on X, responding to inquiries from citizens about the president’s absence. Tinubu’s prolonged stay outside the country had sparked various speculations, including rumours about his health.

However, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare Tunji Alausa dismissed these speculations, asserting that Tinubu’s absence from Nigeria was not due to medical reasons. Alausa clarified that Tinubu’s health was not a concern and emphasized the government’s focus on developing healthcare systems for all Nigerians, including the president.

“We have a president that is well, that is healthy and leading the country in the right direction,” Alausa stated on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief.
