Zaidu Sanusi Named in FC Porto’s Pre-Season Squad

Nigerian international Zaidu Sanusi has been included in FC Porto’s pre-season training squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Sanusi, among 28 players selected by new manager Vitor Bruno, is set to participate in the upcoming training camp. The 26-year-old left-back underwent surgery in February following a cruciate ligament injury sustained during a league match against Estrela da Amadora.

Expected to ease back into action gradually, Sanusi aims to regain his form ahead of the new season. FC Porto has scheduled friendlies against Varzim, Chaves, Nacional, Al Arabi, Austria Vienna, and Sturm Graz.

Last season, Sanusi made 10 appearances across all competitions for the Dragons.
