Fire Outbreak at Kano Emirate Palace: No Casualties Reported

A fire incident occurred at the Gidan Rumfa palace in Kano, Nigeria, where the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, is currently residing. The Kano Emirate Council confirmed the incident, which happened on Friday at 11:00 p.m.

According to a statement released by the Chief of Staff to the emir, Munir Sanusi-Bayero, the fire damaged the Kofar Kudu Court and some valuable items. However, fortunately, there were no casualties reported.
