Water Interruptions Scheduled in Windhoek, Namibia

Residents of Windhoek, Namibia, are advised to prepare for water interruptions from July 16 to 18. According to Harold Akwenye, city spokesperson, the disruptions are necessary to replace wells in the city’s water network.

The affected areas include Windhoek’s Eros suburb, which will experience water cuts from 08h00 to 16h30, Von Eckenbrecher Street, which will be affected from 08h00 to 13h00, and the Olympia and Suiderhof suburbs, which will have their water supply disrupted from 08h00 to 16h00.

Akwenye emphasized the importance of residents in the affected areas making necessary arrangements to minimize the impact of the water interruptions.
