Romelu Lukaku’s Potential Return to Napoli and Morata’s Milan Move: Serie A Transfer Rumors

Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian international, could be on the verge of reuniting with his former coach Antonio Conte at Napoli. The 29-year-old striker has been impressing at AS Roma, but it appears he may be set to leave the Italian capital and return to the Campanian club.

According to reports, Napoli is confident in striking a good deal with Chelsea to bring Lukaku back to the club. Conte, who is the new head coach of Napoli, had a successful spell with Lukaku at Inter Milan in 2019, helping the team win the Serie A title.

The potential move comes as Victor Osimhen’s future at Napoli remains uncertain. The Nigerian striker has been linked with a move to PSG, with the French club reportedly willing to pay €130 million for his release clause, which could be reduced to €100 million if Kylian Mbappé departs the club.

Meanwhile, Alvaro Morata is set to leave Atletico Madrid and join AC Milan. The Spanish striker, who is currently 31 years old, has completed his medical and is expected to make the switch to the Italian capital.

Morata has previously had two stints in Serie A with Juventus and is now set for a third spell in the league. The forward led Spain to their fourth European Championship title at Euro 2024, where they defeated England 2-1 in the final.

The potential moves come as both Napoli and AC Milan look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season. The Italian clubs are set for an exciting campaign, with several high-profile players likely to make the switch in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for further updates on these Serie A transfer rumors as the transfer window continues to unfold.
