Kenya Wins Silver Medal Appeal in Dramatic 5000m Final
In a thrilling turn of events, Kenya has successfully won Faith Kipyegon’s silver medal appeal in the women’s 5000m final at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Kipyegon, who finished second behind compatriot Beatrice Chebet, was initially disqualified for obstruction and had her medal awarded to Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands.
