I watched video of person shot during protest, not knowing it was my husband – Wife of stray bullet victim

Taiwo Micheal, the wife of Micheal Gabriel, the man who was shot by a stray bullet during a protest in Ogun State, narrates how she found out her husband was shot.

Taiwo, who is a fashion designer, revealed that at first when she saw the video online, she didn’t realise it was her husband until she started receiving calls from people asking if she had heard what happened.

After she realised the man in the video was her husband, she said she was later informed that her husband had been taken to the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta.

A friend to Gabriel, Monsuru Kushimo, said that they both went out to withdraw unknowing to them that there was a protest going on.

Kushimo added that he sought shelter in a house closeby until the riot subsided not knowing that his friend had been hit by a stray bullet.

He was later informed that his friend was been taken to the General hospital but found out that he was taken to FMC.

Taiwo asks Nigerians to come to the aid of both her children and her hospitalised husband.
