Kano Governor Lauches 5km Road Construction Project in Ghari LGA

Kano State Governor Launches 5-kilometre Road Project in Ghari Local Government Area

In a bid to develop rural communities, the governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, has launched the construction of a 5-kilometre road project in Kunchi town, Ghari Local Government Area. This initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to construct a 5-kilometre road in all local governments across the state.

According to a statement by Sanusi Bature, the governor’s media aide, the project was initiated during the second tenure of Sen. Rabi’u Kwankwaso, but was not continued by the succeeding administration. The project’s relaunch is a testament to the governor’s commitment to completing abandoned projects and improving infrastructure in the state.

During the launch, Governor Yusuf commended the people of the area for their patience, support, and cooperation. He also instructed the contractor handling the project to mobilize to site within one week, warning that failure to do so would compel the government to terminate the contract.

This development is a significant step towards improving the lives of residents in Ghari Local Government Area and enhancing economic activities in the region. The governor’s administration has been working tirelessly to ensure that all local governments in the state have access to quality infrastructure, and this project is a testament to that commitment.
