To drive further growth, the terminal will be hosting its second exporters forum, which aims to facilitate more efficient movement of exports into the ports.
The forum, which was launched in June, provides a platform for exporters, shipping lines, and terminal operators to discuss issues that impede the flow of export cargo into the port. The terminal has received valuable feedback from customers and stakeholders, which will be used to improve operations and streamline processes.
Speaking at the forum, the Head of Commercial, Kayode Daniels, emphasized the importance of collaboration and timely feedback in improving export volumes. “We believe that by working together, we can further strengthen the port’s export process and enhance the overall efficiency of trade,” he said.
In preparation for the coming export season, APM Terminals Nigeria will be proactively reviewing and addressing potential challenges to ensure seamless services to its customers.
