Lebron, Sabonis, Butler, Tatum, and Edwards Take Fans Behind the Scenes

NBA Stars Bring Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse with ‘Starting 5’ Docu-Series

A handful of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) top players have embarked on a new journey, allowing fans to get a glimpse into their lives ahead of the 2023-2024 season. LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Edwards stepped out onto the Los Angeles red carpet on Monday to promote Netflix’s documentary series, “Starting 5.” The show provides a unique look at some of the league’s elite players.

Just weeks ago, James, Tatum, and Edwards returned from the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they brought home the gold medal as part of Team USA. However, Tatum, a Boston Celtics player, insisted that their recent championship win won’t alter their approach to the upcoming season. In an interview, he said, “It’s a privilege to have the target on your back. And it’s not like we try to defend the title. We try to go win the title. So, we’re not being hunted. We trying to go out and hunt other people.”

The five NBA stars will share their stories, struggles, and triumphs in the new docu-series, offering audiences a fresh perspective on their lives beyond the basketball court. “Starting 5” premieres on Netflix on October 9.
