Edo State Governor-Elect Meets Imo State Governor, Promises to Develop Edo

Edo State Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, made a significant visit to Governor Hope Uzodimma at the Imo State Government House in Owerri on Wednesday. Accompanied by his deputy, Honourable Dennis Idahosa, Senator Adams Oshimhole, and Jarrett Tenebe, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Edo State, Okpebholo expressed gratitude to Uzodimma for his crucial role in his electoral victory.

In his address, Okpebholo acknowledged the blessings of God and the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, stating that his team contested the election with the grace of God and has won. He extended his appreciation to Uzodimma, emphasizing the importance of developing Edo State.

Governor Uzodimma, who is also the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, welcomed Okpebholo to the PGF and reiterated his support for the incoming governor. He encouraged Okpebholo to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of Edo State, promising to continue to support his quest for good governance.
