EPL: Piers Morgan urges Arteta to sign Premier League striker for Arsenal

Controversial British broadcaster Piers Morgan has urged Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.

Morgan made the plea after Isak led Newcastle to beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 in the Premier League over the weekend.

Isak was linked with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea last summer transfer window but ended up staying at Newcastle.

But the Premier League North London club ultimately decided not to bring in a new striker and back Kai Havertz to continue in the false nine role in Arteta’s squad this season.

However, in a post on his X account, Morgans, a die-hard Arsenal fan, tweeted: “Sign him @Arteta,” alongside a picture of Isak celebrating his goal.

Isak scored 21 Premier League goals last season and was tipped by many to excel at Arsenal.
