NPFL: Babaganaru highlights Akwa United’s major problem

Akwa United head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru has identified poor marksmanship and injuries as his team’s major problem this season.

The Promise Keepers have recorded three wins from 12 games this term.

The Uyo club have scored nine goals during this campaign.

The former Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions currently occupy 16th position on the table with 12 points.

“That has been my major problem. Week in, week out, we keep working on that goal-scoring area, but so far, we haven’t got it right, and I’m not satisfied because we haven’t been scoring enough goals,” Babaganaru lamented.

“And another thing is that we have a lot of injuries in the team. So many of our players are injured. Most of our strikers are sidelined, and that’s why we’re still struggling with that problem.”
