NPFL: Ikorodu City city star Abdulmalik satisfied with maiden campaign

Ikorodu City midfielder, Olatunji Abdulmalik, has described the club’s debut campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), as tough and intense.

Abdulmalik expressed his joy that the team is already coping with the demands of the top-flight.

He stressed that determination and hard work of the players have helped in adapting to the league.

Ikorodu City registered five wins, two draws and five defeats in 12 NPFL games this season.

“Ikorodu City debut campaign in the NPFL has been tough and intense,” Abdulmalik told Ikorodu City media.

“We are playing with professionals now and it’s a daily routine to give your all in training to be able to cope with the league’s requirements.”

Ikorodu City will take on Niger Tornadoes at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna on Saturday.
