NPFL: Plateau United coach targets win against Akwa United

Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut says it is important for his team to build on the win against Nasarawa United.

The Peace Boys defeated Nasarawa United 2-0 in Jos on Sunday.

The former champions will take on Akwa United in their next league fixture.

Mangut said they will look to win the game in Uyo.

“For us to be comfortable in our position on the log we need to get points as quick as possible,” Mangut told Plateau United’s media.

“We will take on Akwa United as it comes first because without fans there is no football. The fans add a lot to the game.”
