Abakaliki FC will square up with Madiba FC in the opening fixture of the 2024-25 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.
The encounter is billed to take place at the Pa-Ngele Oruta Township Stadium in Abakaliki on Saturday, November 30.
The game is the only fixture to be played this weekend, with the remaining matches fixed for next weekend.
Abakaliki FC and Madiba FC are in Group B of the Southern Conference.
Other teams in the group include Solution FC, Rovers FC, First Bank FC, Osun United, Gateway United, Kun Khalifat FC, ABS FC, and Sporting Lagos.
Media Talk Africa recalls that Abakaliki FC was formed in October 2024 by the Ebonyi State Government, while Madiba FC missed out on a promotion ticket last season.
