Onyedika thrilled to play in UEFA Champions League

Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika says playing in the UEFA Champions League is a remarkable experience for him.

The Nigerian has played consistently in the competition since his arrival at the Belgian Pro League champions.

The former FC Midtylland player caught the eye with his impressive display in Club Brugge’s clash with Celtic in midweek.

Onyedika said he had always aspired to play in the biggest club competition in the world.

“It’s a competition that almost every player wants to play in and you have the opportunity to show yourself, play with top teams and top players,” Onyedika said to the Super Eagles media team.

“It’s like a dream come true, apart from the red card against AC Milan. It was unfortunate but sometimes it happens, something that you cannot control. It’s one of my proudest moments playing in the Champions League.”
