Zamfara PDP sympathizes with NUJ over ghastly motor accident

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Zamfara State chapter has expressed its heartfelt sympathy over the recent ghastly motor accident along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway that involved some members of the Zamfara State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.

The union members were on their way back to the State after the Triennial Delegates Conference in Imo State.

The State PDP chairman, Jamil Jibo Magayaki said the entire members of the PDP State Working Committee, SWC, were terribly shocked by the sad news of the accident and therefore sympathized with both the national and Zamfara State Councils of the union over the incident.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State PDP publicity scribe, Comrade Haliru Andi and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital.

“The Chairman thanked Allah that no life was lost to the accident and also called on the victims to see it as something ordained by Allah.

“Dr. Jamil Jibo Magayaki prayed Allah to grant quick recovery to the injured victims and prevent future recurrence of the ugly incident,” he stated.
