Wike to begin work on four new road projects in FCT

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, is set to kick off the construction of four new roads, staff quarters for the Nigerian Law School, and other projects.

In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka, on Monday, the new projects are expected to be launched between the first and second week of December.

The statement reads: β€œThe Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, will commence the flag-off of construction of four new roads, staff quarters for the Nigerian Law School, and other projects this week.”

Olayinka also noted that six new projects will be flagged off during this period.

The projects include the construction of the Kabulsa-Takushara Access Road, the Kabusa-Ketti Access Road, an access road to the new EFCC Academy site in Giri District, and the design, construction, and furnishing of an office complex for the Body of Benchers.

Other projects include the design and construction of 10 staff quarters for the Nigerian Law School in Bwari Area Council and the construction of a 15 km road from the A2 Junction Abuja-Lokoja Road to Pia in Kwali Area Council.
