Nnadozie targets WAFCON glory with Super Falcons

Chiamaka Nnadozie says the Super Falcons want to reclaim their title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The West Africans were deposed by the Banyana Banyana of South Africa two years ago in Morocco.

The Super Falcons finished in a disappointing fourth position at the competition.

Justine Madugu’s side lost 2-1 to Les Bleues of France last weekend.

Nnadozie is positive they will be ready to conquer the rest of the continent in Morocco.

“It is the last game of the year, but next year we will continue where we stopped. The goal is to win the WAFCON and by the grace of God we will,” the Paris FC shot stopper told Ojb Sports.

“I always say that we have a bright future, it hasn’t been the same over the past four to five year.

“We are always moving ahead and growing. We have so many young talents and I think in the next 20 to 30 years, we will not lack good footballers in this team.”
