EPL: Man Utd updates on Nottingham clash after Everton vs Liverpool call-off

Manchester United have said their Premier League game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday will go ahead, as the UK braces against Storm Darragh.

The early kick-off between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park has already been called off, due to strong winds of up to 70mph forecast in the region.

Several other fixtures in the UK have also been postponed. These include matches in the Championship, League One and League Two, as well as all matches in Wales.

However, the late kick-off will likely still be played.

United said in a statement: “Today’s Premier League fixture at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest is scheduled to go ahead as planned.

“The club will continue to consult the relevant authorities throughout the day and will update supporters immediately if anything changes.”
