Nasarawa United technical director, Kabiru Dogo, has commended his players for the improved performance in the win over Lobi Stars.

The Solid Miners defeated Lobi Stars 1-0 in a matchday 16 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.

Qamar Adegoke grabbed the only goal of the game.

Dogo admitted that the opponent made things difficult for his players.

“I thank God for the success of the game,” Dogo told Nasarawa United media.

“There have been improvements in our last three games, but there is room for more improvement; we need to win more games and move up higher the ladder.

“The game is a fierce rivalry clash, full of high intensity and technicalities. Lobi Stars are not a pushover side; they gave us a good fight because they are well acclimatized with the terrain here as they use this same turf for their home games.

“We thank our supporters and fans for their undiluted support.

“We implore them never to relent as we will get out of the present predicament.”
