APC constitutes panel to investigate secretariat explosion

The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by Tony Okocha, has established a nine-member panel of inquiry to investigate the cause of the explosion that occurred at the party’s secretariat on Aba Road on October 5, 2024.
Speaking to journalists after the inaugural meeting of the newly elected state executive committee, Okocha emphasized the importance of uncovering both the immediate and underlying factors behind the incident.

He directed the panel to identify those responsible for the bombing, which took place on the eve of the local government council elections in the state.
