Serie A: Maduka Okoye undergoes successful surgery

Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has undergone successful surgery on his wrist, Media Talk Africa reports.

Okoye injured his wrist during the Zebras Serie A clash with Genoa last week.

According to a statement on the club’s official website, the operation was conducted by Doctor Loris Pegoli at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan on Monday.

The 24-year-old is now expected to start his rehabilitation following the operation.

The former Sparta Rotterdam goalie will be sidelined for a few weeks.

He has made 14 league appearances for Udinese this season.
