Transfer: Super Falcons forward, Ikechukwu changes club in Mexico

Super Falcons forward, Vivian Ikechukwu has completed her move to the Mexican side, Santa Laguna.

Ikechukwu made the switch from another Mexican outfit, Cruz Azul.

The 27-year-old made 10 league appearances for Cruz Azul before leaving the club.

The striker expressed her delight in completing the move.

“I felt very happy as I am going to become a warrior because I will be joining the warriors,” she told the club’s official website.

“I love the fact that Mexico is well communicated. I love the fact that they speak Spanish because I love the language.”

She has made 10 appearances for Nigeria with two goals to her name.
