NPFL cautions Shooting Stars coach, Ogunbote, over outburst

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has cautioned Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, over his public outbursts after the club’s matchday 12 encounter with Ikorodu City.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Ogunbote questioned the quality of officiating in the South West derby.

Shooting Stars lost 2-1 in the encounter played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

The NPFL stated that during an inquest, Ogunbote expressed regrets and apologised for his outburst.

The former Enyimba and Rangers gaffer has also been directed to issue a public apology for his action.

Ogunbote is one of the longest serving managers in the NPFL.
