EPL: He’s good in possession – Wright-Phillips identifies player Arsenal, Man City should sign

Former Manchester City winger, Wright-Phillips has identified Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes as the player the Cityzens and Arsenal should sign.

According to him, the Brazilian midfielder suits Arsenal and Man City’s style of play.

He noted that the 27-year-old is good in possession and keeping the ball.

“I think he’s an unbelievable player,’ Wright-Phillips told Sportscasting about Guimaraes.

“He’s always up there in terms of duels, keeps great possession of the ball, works his socks off and he keeps that ball moving.

“I think in terms of the way Arsenal and City play, he is one of those guys that you want because he’s good at possession and keeping the ball within those midfield areas.”

Guimaraes has shined at Newcastle under manager Eddie Howe since he moved to St James’ Park from French club Lyon in January 2022.

He is under contract at Newcastle until 2028.
