Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has expressed his wish to have played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, the club’s all-time leading scorer.
Throughout his career, Mbappé has shared the pitch with some of football’s greatest players, including Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Neymar, and others.
However, the 25-year-old has admitted that he would have cherished the opportunity to play alongside Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and Portugal’s captain.
“I’ve played with great players: Lionel Messi, Neymar, [Antoine] Griezmann, [Paul] Pogba, [Karim] Benzema…” Mbappé told BeIN Sports.
“It would have been fun to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s going to be very difficult now, but I was fortunate enough to play against him—a true legend of the sport.”
Ronaldo, 39, left Real Madrid in 2018 and currently plays for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
