CHAN 2024Q: Asare confident Ghana will beat Nigeria to ticket

Hearts of Oak captain, Benjamin Asare is optimistic of victory ahead of Ghana’s 2024 African Nations Championship qualifier against Nigeria.

The West Africa Nations will battle for a place at the competition this month.

The first leg will hold at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The reverse fixture is slated for the Godswill Akpabio international Stadium, Uyo, a week later.

Asare solicited for support from Ghanaians ahead of the game.

“Preparation has been good,” Asare told Kickgh.

“It’s a great opportunity for us representing the Black Galaxies. I will plead with Ghanaians to come in their numbers to support us and we promise to give them victory.”
