According to Fabrizio Romano, the Cityzens are keen on strengthening their academy set-up as they want to create a supply chain for the first team.

“Manchester City are closing in on deal for Academy as talent Teddie Lamb (U16 striker) from Leyton Orient is set to join the club.”

“Agreement is done for the highly talented youngster, as Man City’s philosophy is still to develop Academy young players for the future,” Romano wrote on X on Friday.

Lamb is highly rated by Leyton Orient’s academy staff and the club considers him to have a big future.

He has already featured for Leyton Orient Under-18’s side and Manchester City are keen to bring the young attacker to their academy and help with his development.
