Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ruben Dias will miss his side’s Premier League tie with Aston Villa on Saturday.
According to Guardiola, Dias will be out of action for four weeks due to injury.
“Rúben Dias will be out with an injury for 3/4 weeks,” Guardiola said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“He felt something against Man United, he played for 75 minutes with pain… now he’s out.”
Meanwhile, Guardiola will have the likes of Manuel Akanji and John Stones back in his squad for the Aston Villa clash.
Man City head to the game following a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in their last game.
The Cityzens currently sit in the 5th position on the Premier League table behind Nottingham Forest, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
