EPL: Dwight Yorke suggests player Arsenal should sign to win title

Former Manchester United star, Dwight Yorke has urged Arsenal to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak if they want to win the Premier League title this season.

Yorke wants the Gunners to put an offer of £100 million on the table for Isak in the January transfer window.

Arsenal have failed to win the Premier League title in the last two seasons.

Mikel Arteta’s side came second position twice behind Manchester City.

“Everyone keeps banging on about Arsenal missing a number nine, and I do think there’s something to it,” Yorke told Sportlens.

“They are missing something. I can’t understand why Arsenal hesitated when they had the opportunity to sign Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad. They sat on their hands, and Newcastle swooped in and took him. That was ridiculous.

“If Arsenal want to win the Premier League title, they should go to Newcastle and bang £100million on the table for Isak as soon as the January transfer window opens.”
