EPL table: Liverpool to stay top at Christmas after 6-3 win against Tottenham

Liverpool will be top of the Premier League table on Christmas Day, thanks to their 6-3 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Chelsea failed to overtake the Reds after their 0-0 draw at Everton.

Arne Slot’s men took full advantage of that slip-up to go four points clear.

Luis Díaz and Alexis Mac Allister fired Liverpool into a two-goal lead before James Maddison pulled one back.

However, the visitors ran away with the game, adding goals from Mohamed Salah (twice) and Dominik Szoboszlai (twice).

Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke pulled two back for Spurs.

Liverpool now have 39 points with a game in hand, while Chelsea have 35 and Arsenal are on 33.
