EPL: Leny Yoro speaks on regrets over Man United move

Manchester United star, Leny Yoro, has said he does not regret moving to Old Trafford last summer.

Yoro, 19, joined Manchester United from LOSC Lille in July on a five-year contract that runs until 2029 in a deal worth €62 million, along with €8 million in add-ons.

The deal makes him the most expensive player aged 18 or younger and one of the most expensive centre-backs in history.

Yoro did not have the start he expected with the Red Devil.

Following his transfer, he made his unofficial debut in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal (July 27), where he sustained an ankle injury.

The defender said he was satisfied with his decision to join the Red Devils despite his rocky start

He told Telefoot in France,
“No regrets about joining Manchester United. In my head, I’d set my sights on playing abroad because that’s something I’ve always been attracted to, especially the Premier League. It’s every footballer’s dream.”
