Barcelona are currently in advanced talks to sign 28-year-old defender Jonathan Tah for their manager, Hansi Flick.
“Barca continue to advance in talks to sign Jonathan Tah, as reported back in November. Negotiations are progressing well to make it happen,” football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on X on Christmas Day.
“The deal is being discussed solely as a free transfer for July 2025, with Hansi Flick also involved. It is not intended for January.”
Media Talk Africa earlier reported that the Bayer Leverkusen star is set to join Barcelona at the end of the season.
The player’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has already met with the club to discuss a potential deal for Tah.
