Scotland: Rangers coach, Clement expresses concern over Balogun’s injury

Rangers manager, Philippe Clement has expressed concern over Leon Balogun’s injury.

Balogun left the pitch in the 19th minute of Rangers’ 2-1 loss at St Mirren on Boxing Day.

The Nigerian has added to the Light Blues injury woes ahead of ahead of next week’s Old Firm derby with Celtic.

Another centre-back John Souttar is already ruled out for several weeks.

“I don’t know yet, to be honest,” the Belgian responded when asked about the nature of the defender’s injury. I didn’t have time to speak about that,” Clement was quoted by Herald.

“I had other things to speak about in half-time and after the game also.

“So, I didn’t ask that one because I know the doctor will say he needs to make an assessment tomorrow. So, we will focus on that tomorrow.”
