Transfer: Galatasaray coach opens up on Osimhen’s future

Galatasaray manager, Okan Buruk is hopeful Victor Osimhen will remain at the club until the end of the season.

Osimhen joined the Yellow and Reds on loan from Serie A club, Napoli, in September.

There is however a break- up clause in the contract that allows him to leave Galatasaray during the winter transfer window.

The striker was recently linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

Buruk is optimistic the Nigerian will not leave the club any time soon.

“I would like Osimhen’s transfer to be acquired permanently, I would like it very much as a technical director and as a fan,” the coach was quoted by Turkish news outlet, Fanatik.

“The player is with us on loan. He is with us until the end of the season. He wants to be with us. He has no thoughts about the mid-season break.”
