EPL: ‘It’s a relief’ – Guardiola reacts to Man City’s 2-0 win over Leicester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has described his side’s Premier League 2-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday as a relief.’

Man City ended their five-game winless run as Guardiola celebrated victory in his 500th game in charge of the Premier League champions with a win at the King Power Stadium.

Two goals from Savinho and Erling Haaland gave the Cityzens the victory against the hosts.

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Guardiola said: “So many days without winning when we are used to it. It’s a relief. The performance was not our best, Leicester were good. Happy for the result for the players, their commitment to be here.”
