Former Juventus star Kaio Jorge has revealed the advice Cristiano Ronaldo gave him during their brief time together at the Serie A giants.
Jorge moved to Juventus in 2021, the same year Ronaldo left to rejoin Manchester United, for a reported €7 million from Santos.
Jorge made 11 appearances for Juventus before joining Cruzeiro Esporte Clube this summer for a reported €7.2 million.
He remembered the advice the five-time Ballon d’Or winner gave him.
He told Flash Score: “I’ve been so lucky. And I learned a lot from him, even though we were together for less than two months.
“He was very friendly and helpful with me. I will never forget what he told me one day in the gym: ‘It is from preparation that opportunities arise.’ It’s a phrase I’ve been carrying with me ever since.”
Jorge, 22, has scored 10 goals and made three assists in 40 games this season.
