NPFL: Lobi Stars chief promises improved performance in second stanza

Lobi Stars Chairman, Dr Philip Nongu has expressed confidence in the team’s readiness to shine in the second half of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

The Pride of Makurdi have endured a poor start to the campaign.

Lobi Stars occupy 17th position on the NPFL table with 20 points from 19 games.

Dr Nongu said the players will return with new hope and determination to improve on the NPFL table.

“Our players will return with renewed energy and determination to improve on the league table and make our supporters proud.” Dr Nongu told Lobi Stars media.

Media Talk Africa reports that Lobi Stars embarked on a seven-day break this week to refresh ahead of the second stanza.
