Transfer: Hoffenheim, Lyon agree deal for Orban

Bundesliga outfit, TSG Hoffeheim have won the race for Olympic Lyon forward, Gift Orban, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

Hoffenheim have been in talks with Lyon for the striker for the past few weeks.

Ligue 1 club, RC Lens, also had a bid rejected for Orban by Lyon.

“Hoffenheim and Olympique Lyon have agreed on a deal for Gift Orban, green light from OL to proceed.

“Formal steps to follow on player side to get the deal sealed,” Romano wrote on X.

The 23-year-old linked up with Lyon from Belgian Pro League side, KAA Gent in January 2023.

He has struggled for regular playing time at the club.
