EPL: Keown singles out two Arsenal players after 3-1 win at Brentford

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has praised Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli following a 3-1 win at Brentford.

Both Brazilian forwards scored as the Gunners recovered from Bryan Mbeumo’s opener to take all three points.

Keown, speaking on TNT Sports, hailed the “cutting edge” from Jesus and Martinelli.

He said: “Both of those players [Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli] do a lot of unforeseen work but the cutting edge is scoring the goals at the vital moments.

“They’ve done that tonight—another game at the weekend, guys. You don’t live off that for long, if you want to be champions, you get back and you get on with the job.

“Arsenal flew out of the blocks in the second half and they stepped it up. They’ve just got to keep doing their job and winning their matches.”
