Transfer: Genk block Arokodare’s January move

Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk have ruled out selling Tolu Arokodare in the January transfer window.

Arokodare has caught the eye with his impressive displays for the Smurfs this season.

The Nigerian has scored 13 goals and registered five assists for the league leaders.

The 24-year-old is expected to be a subject of interest from clubs from the major leagues in Europe.

Genk chairman Peter Croonen has however said they won’t allow the striker leave the club any time soon.

“It is absolutely the intention to keep him. And that will happen,” Croonen told DAZN.
