Transfer: Orban completes move to Bundesliga club Hoffenheim

Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Gift Orban from Olympic Lyon.

Hoffenheim paid €9 million plus €3 million add-ons for the forward.

The 22-year-old penned a contract until 2029.

“In Gift Orban, we have found exactly the fast striker with good depth that we were looking for,” managing director Andreas Shicker told the club’s official website.

“Gift has repeatedly demonstrated his goal danger and his joy of playing on his previous stations, so we are convinced that he gives our team greater variability in the offence with his skills.”
