PDP NWC supports Governor Bala Mohammed’s effort to strengthen party

The National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has pledged its full support to Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, in his efforts to stabilise the party and enhance its role as a leading opposition force in Nigeria.
The NWC, led by the newly appointed National Secretary, Udeh Okoye, gave the assurance over the weekend during a condolence visit to the governor following the passing of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa.

They emphasised the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the party’s goals.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Ibrahim Yayari conveyed their sympathies and offered prayers for the governor’s family.

He highlighted the pivotal role Governor Mohammed plays in the PDP Governors Forum, describing his leadership as critical to the party’s continued progress.

“We are here not just to share in your grief but to reaffirm our support for your tireless efforts in strengthening the PDP and ensuring it remains a strong opposition voice in Nigeria,” Yayari stated.

The NWC members reiterated their commitment to working closely with Governor Mohammed and other party stakeholders to advance PDP’s mission and contribute to national development.
