The Ogun State Government has urged staff of the State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, to redouble their efforts in the discharge of their duties to ensure effective service delivery and justify their pay.
The Permanent Secretary of the commission, Melutia Ogunremi, gave the charge during a New Year prayer session held at the TESCOM Conference Room, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

Ogunremi expressed gratitude to God for His mercy and protection over the management and staff of the agency in past years, emphasising the importance of prayers as the foundation for life achievements.

She reminded staff of the need to abide by the oath of secrecy, maintain discipline, and seek clarification when in doubt.

Also speaking, the Commissioner in TESCOM, Moruf Adesegun, stressed the importance of teamwork and unity within the commission, noting that collaboration had been instrumental in achieving significant results over the past year. He encouraged staff to be more dedicated to their duties in the coming year.

On her part, the Principal-General of the Remo Division, Dr Womiloju Ayodele, speaking on behalf of other principals-general, called on staff to be more committed to their jobs. She stated that the reward for hard work often transcends monetary benefits, with long-term gains achievable through diligence and dedication.
