EPL: Usain Bolt predicts shock team that may win title this season

Jamaican sprint legend, Usain Bolt, has predicted that Manchester United can win the Premier League title this season.

Bolt, an ardent supporter of the Red Devils, said this following United’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Red Devils went against all expectations to record a hard-fought 2-2 draw against the Reds at Anfield.

Before the game, Media Talk Africa reported that Ruben Amorim’s men had lost four games in a row.

Liverpool, on the other hand, were on a run of four consecutive wins and were expected to brush aside their bitter rivals.

However, Manchester United managed to hold their own against Liverpool at Anfield.

United showed grit and resilience that their fans have been looking for a long time.

The first goal came from the boots of defender Lisando Martinez with a thunderous strike early in the second half.

Liverpool equalised seven minutes later through Cody Gakpo and made it 2-1 with a Mohamed Salah’s penalty.

However, Amorim’s men managed to get back into the game through Amad Diallo in the 80th minute.

Bolt expressed satisfaction at United’s performance, claiming that the Red Devils can win the league if they show such spirit every game.

“If we can play with this fight [in] every game, Manchester United will win the league,” said Bolt on Instagram via Sportskeeda.

Media Talk Africa reports that Amorin and his men would be expected to show the same strength when Manchester United face Arsenal in the FA Cup on Sunday.
